Aula, PROGR, Bern

The PROGR at Waisenhausplatz 30 is accessible to visitors with reduced mobility: the Auditorium and Kleine Bühne are reached via the inner courtyard; on the east side (door marked PROGR OST) a wheelchair lift goes to the mezzanine, and to the right of the main staircase a lift serves the first floor, from which the rooms are reachable without thresholds. Audio descriptions are available to guide vision-impaired visitors from Bern station to the building and back. There is no official parking in the courtyard. Please contact assistenz@progr.ch or come directly to Waisenhausplatz 30 before the event for personal assistance.

How long is a concert here?
Most concerts last around 60–75 minutes with no interval. Doors open about 30 minutes before the start.

Is the seating numbered?
Seating is usually by zone rather than individual seat — details are shown on each concert’s booking page.

Can I bring children?
Yes — most concerts are recommended for ages 6+, with under-16s accompanied by an adult.
