Orpheum Extra (Kleiner Saal), Graz
The Orpheum in Graz enjoys an almost legendary reputation among artists and guests from all over the world for good reason. The theatre exudes a special atmosphere and unique charm — qualities that are rarely found today. As one of the last versatile venues with a classical theatre stage, it has aged gracefully and yet remained vibrant. In 2016, the Orpheum was carefully modernised: Since then, the technology has met the highest standards, while the theatre's unmistakable character has been preserved.
The Orpheum Extra (small hall) is on the first floor and is reached step-free via the lift next to the cloakroom; the entrance to the hall is threshold-free and all seats are on one level. Seating is flexible, so wheelchair spaces can be set up anywhere (especially in the front row) - please state this when booking (the box office is not accessible, so booking online in advance is recommended). There is an accessible toilet on the same floor; a public accessible parking space is located on Orpheumgasse in front of the building, and assistance/partner dogs are welcome. For wheelchair-space information call +43 316 8008-9000 or email grazer@spielstaetten.at.
