Patrick Doyle

Scottish composer Patrick Doyle brings sweeping orchestral emotion to the screen — from Harry Potter: Goblet of Fire to Cinderella. Hear his music live.

Born in 1953, Patrick Doyle is a longtime collaborator of Kenneth Branagh, beginning with Henry V and continuing through Hamlet, Thor and Cinderella. He scored Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Brave and Sense and Sensibility, earning Academy Award nominations and a reputation for rich, melodic, emotionally direct writing. A trained singer as well as composer, Doyle favours warm strings and soaring themes. Performed live, his scores reveal their full romantic, theatrical character.
